Le Vian’s much-awaited Trend Forecast 2025 was unveiled at Luxury by JCK in Las Vegas earlier last month. Once again, it confirmed the brand’s identity as the “Style Whisperer” of the jewellery world.
According to the Trend Forecast, seven emotions will guide the jewellery world in the coming year:

Emotionally Engaging Jewellery Trends
Whereas last year Le Vian offered us Escape and Renewal as well as Bold and Brilliance as beacons, this year several trends offer emotional engagement as an anchor. Being both introspective and outward looking, these trends have their fingers set firmly on the pulse of jewellery lovers.
Wonder & Awe
Wonder & Awe is an ode to the allure of yellow gold, a precious metal that has entranced us since antiquity. This trend is about luxury with yellow gold as its hero. It is also a nod to the almost mystical allure of this precious metal.
“Gold has overtaken diamonds as the standard of luxury. It has also created a frenzy where gold bars are selling faster than candy bars. We are awed by the enduring and increasing power of gold and wonder, ‘How high is high?’ as it burnishes its image of status and luxury,” notes Eddie LeVian, CEO of Le Vian.
From the high polish and ultra luxe finish of the Gold Links collection to the delicately crafted scrolls and arabesques of the Gold Filigree collection, Wonder & Awe allows gold to show its versatility and charm. The pieces of this trend are striking and infinitely wearable.
Inspiration
Inspiration is a journey into the night sky, which once again has fascinated humans since time immemorial. The collection is emotionally engaging, in that, it is as much an exploration of the heavens as it is of the infinite universe within us.
The collection can easily be divided into two parts. The first is set with blue and grey spinels, sapphires, tanzanites and topaz, and pays homage to the vastness of the cosmos, its mysteries and marvels. The choice of this cool colour palette is deliberate because it echoes the deep and fathomless inky-blue night sky and the cool light of the stars that twinkle in it.
The second part embraces the warmth and life-giving essence of celestial bodies. The Sun and Stars collection is a stylized representation of these heavenly bodies. The Moon collection uses brown diamonds to bring out the charm of a sparkling sliver of light in the night sky. What’s more these collections perfectly showcase the detailed jewellery craftsmanship that Le Vian is known for.
Commenting on the choice of Inspiration as a jewellery trend for 2025, Le Vian observes, “ When we look up at the night sky, we are inspired by the vastness of the universe, the turning of the galaxies and the rotating and orbiting around stars. We get inspired to see that not only are we but a speck, but also that in this universe what goes around comes around and the good we do comes back to us.”
Timelessness
The Timelessness trend upends the feeling of impermanence by showing jewellery lovers why some things will always be timeless, even as time ticks away. In this collection, enduring love is symbolized by natural fancy colour diamonds as well as rare, natural colour gemstones.
Bringing it all together is platinum, the purest and most durable precious metal, with its ethereal white colour and deep shine. That this collection is supposed to be worn and enjoyed over generations goes to the very heart of the concept of Timelessness!
The collection comprises of one-of-a-kind high jewellery rings, earrings and necklaces. Some pieces are set with intensely vibrant Paraiba tourmalines and vividly colour-saturated red rubies. These pieces have “modern heirloom” written all over them.

While sustainability is not an emotion, it is a concept that touches an emotional chord with many. As part of Le Vian’s trend Forecast 2025, Sustainability highlights the importance of Earth and Life and how all living things are interconnected in a complex yet obvious way.
The colour palette of this collection aptly represents its essence – bright and life affirming blues, turquoise, and greens as well as grounding and reassuring browns.
Emeralds feature prominently here. Their pure green colour cools the eye and nourishes the soul, gently urging us to appreciate the generous bounty of lush, verdant nature all around us while we admire the beauty of these Couture jewellery pieces.
As in previous years, Le Vian has once again introduced us to a new gemstone. Last year the brand left us mesmerized by the multi-coloured hues of Peacock Aquaprase, this year it unveiled Aquadite.
