Exceptional Jewelry Pieces at the National Antique and Art Dealers Association of America’s Online Exhibition

The National Antique and Art Dealers Association of America (NAADAA) is currently having its first online Antique fair. Launched on June 24, 2020 the online exhibition is set to run, 24 hours a day, through July 8th, 2020.

The works on exhibit include fine art, jewelry, furniture, decorative art, wallpaper, illuminated manuscripts and other antiques and works of art. Many of these items are being shown online for the first time on the NAADAA digital platform.

However, the jewelry pieces on display come from prestigious Antique and Art dealers including A La Vieille Russie, Firestone and Parson, James Robinson Inc., Les Enluminures as well as S.J. Shrubsole . Among the jewelry highlights, there are pieces from Cartier, Mauboussin, Bucellati, Tiffany & Co., Rene Boivin to name a few, as well as several exquisite Victorian and Edwardian pieces showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and stunning gemstones.

A La Vieille Russie (ALVR) are art and antique dealers, well known for their collection of European and American antique jewelry as well as fine and decorative art. In addition, they are recognised the world over as experts of Carl Fabergé’s works and have many rare and exceptional Fabergé pieces in their collection. At the NAADAA fair, their selection of antique jewelry includes a magnificent 1950s amethyst and chrysoprase necklace by Boivin, a 1950s Mauboussin multigem necklace as well as a fabulous Fabergé aventurine quartz hand seal. Les Eluminures Gallery specializes in manuscripts and miniatures from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance period.  However, the gallery also handles rings and jewelry from the same periods. It organizes four or five exhibitions every year, some in collaboration with other dealers and some traveling to other locations. At the NAADAA online fair, they are displaying some remarkable pieces including a Byzantine gemstone-set ring with an emerald, a reliquary cross pendant as well as a carnelian intaglio ring of Dionysus. Firestone and Parson are antique and art dealers dedicated to high and exceptional quality in antique jewelry, fine diamonds, coloured gemstones as well as a full line of modern and contemporary jewelry pieces.
