Exquisite Ear Pendants at Dupuis’ Online Jewels Auction

Dupuis Fine Jewellery Auctioneers are currently having their Online Jewels Auction. With over 600 beautiful items on offer, there is something to appeal to jewelry lovers all over the world. What is more, since bidding closes on 12^th February, the auction comes just in time for that special Valentine’s Day gift for a loved one.

Online bidding for fine jewelry on Dupuis’ website is very exciting and convenient. You can watch items as bids are placed on them  electronically and you can join in the bidding at any time before the bidding closes. Another option is to preview the items at Dupuis’ offices in Toronto. Previewing can be very informative in my opinion because it can help you decide which pieces really speak to you.

Dupuis’ online catalogue for the auction has been up on their website since late January and I have been browsing it happily, looking for beautiful pearl jewelry items. And I have not been disappointed! As always, Dupuis have put together a catalogue of exquisite items, with many different jewelry designers and jewelry styles. However, the selection of pearl ear pendants in the catalogue is amazing.

Lot 236: A Pair of South Sea Cultured Pearl, Diamond and White Gold Ear Pendants

An eye-catching pair of ear pendants with greyish black cultured pearls topped by tapering caps set with diamonds, mounted in 18K white gold. The pearls, which look like Tahitian pealrs, have lovely green and pink overtones and their bright lustre matches the sparkle of the diamonds. I love the tapering design of these earrings as well as their size, which could easily go from daytime chic to evening elegant.

Lot 401: A Pair of Cultured Pearl, Diamond and Gold Ear Pendants

A pair of gorgeous golden South sea pearls and brilliant diamonds adorn these ear pendants. The ear pendants are long and articulated with lovely geometric motifs. The round golden South Sea pearls are just stunning, with their sharp lustre, deep gold hue and green overtones. Suspended, they add length and elegance to these earrings. These earrings truly epitomize sophistication and flair, in my opinion.

Lot 421: A Pair of Emerald, Cultured Pearl and Gold Ear Pendants

A lovely pair of ear pendants with medium green coloured emeralds and white, well matched cultured pearls, mounted in 18K white and yellow gold. The design and crafting of these ear pendants is very distinctive and the pearls add another dimension of shape, texture and colour to the overall look. The colours, green, gold and pearly white, seem to go together so well and the length of these ear pendants makes them ideal for any occasion.

Lot 499: A Pair of Cultured Pearl, Morganite, Diamond and White Gold Ear Pendants

An elegant set of ear pendants with a pair of lustrous, slightly orangish pink pearls and pear shaped morganites.  With slender plaque lines and frames of diamonds, these ear pendants are mounted in 18K white gold and make quite a dazzling impression. The beautiful pink pearls have a bright lustre and slightly blue green overtones. The colour and cut of the morganites is spectacular, and their colour matches that of the pearls so well. Lot 500: A Pair of Cultured Pearl, Gem-Set and Pink Gold Ear Pendants

A stunning pair of ear pendants with lavender pearls and a row of beautifully set amethysts, pink sapphires and diamonds, set in 18K pink gold. These earrings have so much going for them-the different colours and shapes are what first catch your eye, but then the brilliance of the design really captures you. The sparkle and glitter of the elongated panel row of gemstones seem to enhance the beauty of the lavender pearls. The suspended pearls, with their bright lustre and pink overtones finish these earrings to perfection.
