One of the two twin jewellery shows held annually in Hong Kong, the prestigious HKTDC1 Hong Kong International Jewellery Show is scheduled to take place from 4th-8th March, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This year the show marks 41 years since it first started. And once again, it is set to dazzle the jewellery industry’s elite.
The theme for the twin shows, both the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the HKTDC Hong Kong Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show, is Symphony of Sparkles, which is very apt, given the stunning jewellery masterpieces, innovative jewellery designs and exquisite gems and diamonds that will be seen at the shows.
In addition to the spectacular jewellery exhibits, the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will also offer an impressive line-up of industry seminars, jewellery parades as well as meaningful networking sessions.
The show attracts exhibitors from over 34 different countries and regions of the world. Top exhibiting countries include Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Italy, Türkiye, India, USA and Korea. Last year, the show gathered over 2300 exhibitors from all over the world. This year, it is expected to top this number!
Similarly, last year the show brought over 49,000 jewellery buyers from over 130 countries and regions. These included Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mainland China, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan and USA. This year, the show organizers are expecting an even larger assembly of attendees.

As the name suggests, the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show’s Hall of Extraordinary is a space where the industry’s elites present their finest, one-of-a-kind high jewellery works.
Each piece of jewellery presented in the Hall of Extraordinary is a work of fine jewelled art. Crafted from the rarest and most precious materials, the pieces exhibited reflect a stunning diversity of design aesthetics and styles.

Designer Galleria
The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show caters to a vast cross-section of jewellery industry insiders. In keeping with that vision, the Designer Jewellery Galleria showcases collections and creations that are more youthful in appeal yet superior in quality.
Exciting jewellery collections from independent designers and jewellery brands, at the crossroads of fashion and fine jewellery grace this zone. Gold Jewellery
Debuting this year is a brand new product zone called Gold Jewellery. Gold has always been associated with wealth, prosperity and success. Today, it has found new popularity amongst younger consumers for its durability, emotional resonance and ability to be fashioned into both trendy and timeless pieces.
Dedicated to this gleaming precious metal, the Gold Jewellery zone will showcase gold jewellery crafted with innovative designs and meticulous skill.
Lasting Brilliance – Jewellery Design Competition
A key aspect of the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show is to display the creativity and brilliance of Hong Kong’s jewellery artisans, on the international stage. This it achieved through the Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition, which takes place concurrently with the twin jewellery shows.
Once again, this year, HKTDC will partner with The Jewellers’ and Goldsmiths’ Association of Hong Kong Limited, the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association, the Hong Kong Jewellery and Jade Manufacturers Association and the Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, China Ltd., for the 26th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition.
For this year, the jewellery competition’s theme is “Lasting Brilliance.”
All the entries to competition are expected to be unique and crafted with brilliant gems that carry riveting stories. And, since the theme alludes to the timelessness of the jewellery pieces, it is expected that the designs will transcend the passage of time and delight as well as enchant the onlookers with their beauty and allure.
The competition has two categories – Open and Student, with sub-categories under each. It is only open to residents of Hong Kong,
The award presentation ceremony will take place at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, where the winning pieces will be showcased.
Going Online – Click2Match and The HKTDC Marketplace App
This year, the twin jewellery shows will be held under the EXHIBITION+ hybrid model, Click2Match, whereby an online, smart, business-matching platform will allow traders to connect beyond the geographical limits of the actual shows. Click2Match will be available to registered traders from February 23rd to 13th April 2025.
In addition, to facilitate buyers’ admission, the official websites of the two shows will provide an online self-authentication function to attendees.
On top of this, the shows will also have a dedicated app, called the HKTDC Marketplace App that will provide seamless, online access to the shows. Buyers can download the app on Apple through the App Store and on Android through Google Play.
Once installed, buyers will be able to register through the App by uploading their photos and valid documents for instant authentication and to obtain a verified buyer e-badge for direct admission, which will greatly reduce queuing and waiting time on-site.
Additionally, the app will also provide users with industry news, product trends, show details and supplier information.
